Haleakala, in Hawaiian called as ‘House of the Sun’ which is a mountain county of the beautiful state of Hawaii, Maui. It was declared as a Haleakala National Park in 1980 by the International Bio-sphere Reserve. It is a true example of flora and fauna with its spectacular mountain lines and gorgeous ambience. The Hawaiian original nene geese can also be seen at Haleakala National Park though they were all died in 1946 but with the help of Boy Scouts they have been introduced again. That makes this mark even more special and worth coming.
The other section of the National Park is known as Kipahulu where self-driving for the visitors is restricted because of its unsymmetrical drive lines. It is a true reserve of animal and plant species and almost thousands of visitors visits this place to gain the ultimate experience. This section of Park features more than two dozens natural pools and some spectacular locations which is rare to find out anywhere else in the world. Therefore, Haleakala National Park is a must to visit place for all those who has a desire to see the natural heaven on the earth.
